Honorarium and Allowances to Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson and Councillors of Municipalities.—
- (1) The Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson and other Councillors of a Municipality shall be paid honorarium and allowances of such rates as may be prescribed.
- (2) The Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson of a Municipality shall be eligible while travelling in public purpose for travelling allowances and daily allowance at such rates as may be prescribed.
