Statutory text

(1) Where any development of the nature described in sub-section (1) of section 53 is being carried on in contravention of the master plan or zonal development plan or without the permission, approval or sanction, the Authority may make an order requiring the use of the premises to be discontinued immediately.
(2) Any person who violates the order under sub-section (1) shall be punishable with such fine as may be prescribed for every day of default.
