Urban Station Committee or not, to be Chairperson or Deputy Chairperson or may authorize such committee to elect its Chairperson or Deputy Chairperson or both and fix the term of the office of Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson.

Functions and Powers of Urban Station Committee: Subject to the financial resources at the disposal and organisational capacity of an Urban Station Committee, the Government may, by notification, assign any of the functions and powers of Municipal Council or Town Council to the Urban Sation Committee, as maybe specified. 83 C. Urban Station Committee Fund All moneys received by Urban Station Committee shall be kept and be applied in the manner as provided under the provisions of Chapter - I of Part III of this Act.
