The Chief Officer shall allow all persons to take water for extinguishing fire from any pipe on which a hydrant is fixed, without any payment.

Supply of water outside Municipal area :- (1) The Municipality may, with the sanction of, and on such terms, as may be approved by the Government, Supply water to a local authority or any person outside the municipal area. (2) The Supply of water under sub-section (1) shall be at such rate, not being less than the cost of production and delivery, including the costs of debt servicing, depreciation of plant and machinery loss and other charges if any, as the Municipality may, from time to time, determine
