Statutory text
Acquisition of immovable property by agreement;— If a Municipality desires to acquire any immovable property for the purposes of the Act, such property may, if so directed by the Municipality, be acquired by agreement by the Chief Officer, on behalf of the Municipality on such terms and at such prices, as maybe approved by the Municipality: Provided that the negotiation for the purpose of such agreement shall be made jointly:-
