Measures for lighting._

1. The Municipality shall.-

a. take measures for lighting, in a suitable manner, such public streets public places, squares, parks, gardens, municipal markets and properties of the Municipality, as may be specified by it; b. procure, erect and maintain such number of lamps, lamp posts and other appurtenance, as may be necessary for the purpose as aforesaid; and C. cause such lamps to lighted by appropriate means.

2. The Municipality may, attach to the outside of any building brackets for lamps in such manner, as not to occasion any injury thereto or inconvenience.
