Chapter, any rules or regulation made thereunder or any scheme sanctioned under this Chapter.

Abandonment of Scheme.- The Municipality may, at any time, with prior approval of the Government, and in accordance with such conditions, as may be imposed by the Government, abandon any scheme notified under sub-section (1) of section 380, and upon such abandonment, any land in respect of which, the acquisition is not complete upto the stage of making of award, and the owner or the occupier of such land, shall cease to be subject to any liability under this Chapter. 386. Power to dispose of land.- Subject to such rules, as may be made under this Act, a Municipality may retain, lease, sell, exchange or otherwise dispose of any land vested in, or acquired by it under this Chapter which is no longer required for a scheme framed under this Chapter.
