Dissolution of the University

("Dissolution of the University")

1. (1) If the Sponsoring Body proposes to dissolve the University, it shall give at least six months’ notice in writing to the State Government.
2. (2) On identification of the mismanagement or failure to perform its duties, the State Government may dissolve the University.
3. (3) The dissolution of the University shall have effect only after the last batch of students of the regular courses have completed their courses and they have been awarded degrees, diplomas or certificates, as the case may be.
4. (4) On the dissolution of the University all the assets and liabilities of the University shall vest in the Sponsoring Body.
