The Academic Council

Statutory text
  1. (1) The Academic Council shall be the principal academic body of the University and shall, subject to the provisions of this Act and the Statutes, Ordinances and Regulations made there under, coordinate and exercise general supervision over the academic policies of the University.
  2. (2) The Academic Council shall consist of following members, namely:
    • (a) The Vice-Chancellor;
    • (b) The Registrar;
    • (c) Such other members as may be prescribed by the Statutes.
  3. (3) The term of office of the members of the Academic Council shall be as may be prescribed by the Statutes.
