The Pro-Vice-Chancellor

The Pro-Vice-Chancellor:

1. (1) The Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall be appointed by the Chancellor on the recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor.
2. (2) The Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall be a whole-time officer of the University and shall be a professor of at least ten years standing.
3. (3) The Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall hold office for a term of three years and shall be eligible for re-appointment for another term of three years.
4. (4) The Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as may be prescribed by the Statutes or assigned to him by the Vice-Chancellor.
