Leave of absence and appointment of Acting Chairman and Vice-Chairman

(1) The State Government may grant leave of absence to the Chairman or Vice-Chairman subject to such terms and conditions as may be prescribed. (2) Whenever leave of absence is granted to the Chairman, the Vice-Chairman nominated by the Chairman shall act as Chairman; and where both the Chairman and Vice-Chairman are granted leave, any other member appointed by the State Government shall act as Chairman.
