Section-1: Short title, extent and commencement :- a. This Act may be called the Jharkhand Bovine Animal Prohibition of Slaughter Act, 2005; b. It extends to the whole of the State of Jharkhand; c. It shall come into force from the date the State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette; notify.
