After settlement collector or assistant collector to dis-charge duties Settlen~cl~t Officer.-When the Settlement or the revision of a Settlement operation comes to an end, any matter relating to the same that may require disposal or any action required or per-mitted to be taken by a Settlement Officer will be disposed of or taken by the Collector or such Assistant Collector of the first class subordinate to him as he may designate for the purpose.
