Application for amendment of the di$tribntion of an assess-ment.- 41) Any person affeated by a record made under sub-section (i) or sub-section (3) of ithe last foregoing section cnr by the revision of a record under sub-section (2) of that section may, within thirty dlays from the date of pubication of the record, present a petition to the Settlement Officer for a reconsideration of the record so far as it affects him.

1. (2) The order passed by the Settlement Officer on the petition shall set forth his reasons for granting or refusing it.
