Responsibility of the Competent Authority

B Responsibility of the Competent Authority.-The competent authority shall make every entry in the Pass Book personally from the revenue records of the village. The competent authority shall be responsible for the correctness of every entry made by him in the Pass Book. All entries relating to the revenue record shall be made in accordance with the relevant revenue records. Explanation :-Competent Authority under this section and the preceding section shall mean an empowered officer or official of the Revenue Department, who under this Act is competent to make entries in the Pass Book.
