Insertion of new Section 65-A

In section 65 of the Principal Act, the following shall be inserted, namely :- "65-A. Reference to Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (No. 1 of 1894).- In this Act, - (a) Wherever there is a reference to "the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Central Act 1 of 1894)", "the Land Acquisition Act, 1894" or "the Land Acquisition Act", such reference shall be deemed to be "the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (No. 30 of 2013)"; and (b) Reference to any section of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Central Act 1 of 1894) shall be deemed to be a reference to relevant provision of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (No. 30 of 2013)."
