Protections of persons acting in good faith and limitation of suit or prosecution
The Chhattisgarh Rajmarg Adhiniyam, 2003(1) The Highway Authority or any person empowered by it in this behalf may, at any time, enter upon any land, building or premises for the purpose of carrying out any survey, inspection, examination, measurement or taking levels for the purposes of this Act. (2) The Highway Authority or any person empowered by it in this behalf may, at any time, enter upon any land, building or premises with such assistants and workmen as may be necessary for the purpose of removing any obstruction or encroachment, or for carrying out the work of development or maintenance of a highway. (1) No suit, prosecution or other legal proceedings shall be instituted against any public servant or officer or person duly authorised under this Act in respect of anything in good faith done or intended to be done under this Act, or the rules or orders made thereunder. (2) No suit or prosecution shall be instituted against any public servant or officer or person duly authorised under this respect of anything done or intended to be done under this Act, unless the suit or prosecution has been instituted within six month from the date of the act complained of.
