RATES OF COMPENSATION

[See sections 98 (2) and 107 (1)] PART - I: Lands other than nilam: 1. Garden Land: (i) Land used principally for growing coconut trees - Rs. 1,600; (ii) Land used principally for growing arecanut trees - Rs. 3,000; (iii) Land used principally for growing peppervines - Rs. 700; 2. Dry land principally cultivated with cashew - Rs. 500; 3. Palliyal land - Rs. 400; 4. Waste land (with or without scattered trees) - Rs. 200; 5. Land not falling under any of the above classes - Rs. 300. PART - II: NILAMS: 1. Double crop nilam - Rs. 1,600; 2. Single crop nilam - Rs. 900.
