Certain surrendered documents to be inadmissible in evidence. Where any tenant has executed before the 22nd day of March, 1968, a deed surrendering or purporting to surrender to his landlord his leasehold rights in any land, such deed if unregistered shall, notwithstanding anything contained in the Indian Evidence Act, 1872, be inadmissible in evidence if any dispute regarding possession of such land between such tenant or any person claiming under or through him and such landlord or any person claiming under or through him.
