Application to Land Tribunal when landlord refuses to accept a tender. (1) The tenant may apply to the Land Tribunal in the prescribed manner for permission to pay the arrears of rent due by him for any period through the Land Tribunal: Provided that no such application shall be made, if an application or other proceeding for the recovery of such arrears is pending before the Land Tribunal. (2) Along with the application under sub-section (1), the tenant shall deposit with the Land Tribunal, the said due together with interest, if any, accrued thereon.
