The Mahe Land Reforms Act, 1968Values how ascertained when no table has been prepared or the presumption is rebutted. (25) “kudiyiruppu” means a holding or part of a holding consisting of the site of any residential building, the site or sites of other buildings appurtenant thereto, such other lands as are necessary for the convenient enjoyment of such residential building and easements attached thereto, but does not include a kudikidappu; In respect of any product for which no table showing the price has been published and whenever the presumption under section 24 as to the price is sought to be rebutted, the court shall adopt as the money value for the purpose of awarding compensation under sub-section (1) of section 18, the average price in Mahe, as nearly as may be ascertainable, for a period of 10 years immediately preceding the institution of the suit.
