Deposit of purchase price and issue of certificate of purchase. (1) Where the kudikidappukaran is liable to pay his share of the purchase price, he shall deposit the first instalment thereof with the Land Tribunal within a period of six months from the date on which the order of the Land Tribunal under sub-section (3) of section 88B has become final or within such further period not exceeding six months as may be allowed by the Land Tribunal for reasons to be recorded.
