Classification of Officers and staff of the University

The personnel of the University shall be classified under one of the following categories :-

1. (a) Executive and other Officers—who have the administrative authority and who are designated as such under the Act or the Statutes.
2. (b) Academic staff members—who have duties of an academic nature, such as teaching, research and extension education and who hold professional rank of Professor, Associate Professor, Lecturer or Demonstrator or the like as may be designated under the Act or the Statutes.
3. (c) Ministerial staff members—who are in the service of the University and not included in
4. (a) and
5. (b) above.
