Every such request shall be deemed submission to arbitration under the terms of this section within the meaning of the Arbitration Act, 1940, and the provisions of that Act shall apply accordingly.

Appointment of academic staff members to be made on recommendation of selection committee No person shall be appointed by the University as a member of the academic staff, except on the recommendation of a selection committee constituted for the purpose in accordance with the provisions of the Statutes made in that behalf.
