Statutory text
  1. (1) The Associate Dean shall be a whole time salaried officer of the University and shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor on the recommendation of the Executive Council.
  2. (2) The Associate Dean shall be responsible for conducting teaching, research and extension education programmes at all levels within the limits of the prescribed region and shall also be the Principal of a constituent college.
  3. (3) The Associate Dean shall exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as are laid down under this Act and as may be prescribed.
