Provided that no order shall be passed unless the person affected thereby and the Metropolitan Commissioner have been given a reasonable opportunity of being heard.
The Madhya Pradesh Metropolitan Region Planning and Development Act, 2025Lapse of permission Every permission granted under Section 29 or Section 30 or Section 31 shall remain in force for a period of three years from the date of such grant and thereafter it shall lapse. However, the Metropolitan Commissioner may, on an application, extend such period from year to year but the total period shall in no case exceed five years from the date on which the permission was initially granted:
Provided that such lapse shall not bar any subsequent application for fresh permission under this Act:
Provided further that in case execution of the project begins during the validity of the permission granted under section 29 of the Act, the permission shall not be deemed to lapse thereafter at any time and no revalidation shall be required.
