Modification to the Metropolitan Development and Investment Plan

(1) The Government may, on its own motion or on the request of the Committee or Metropolitan Region Development Authority, make modification in the Metropolitan Development and Investment Plan as it may thinks fit and which in its opinion are necessary.
(2) The Metropolitan Commissioner shall prepare a report together with necessary plan, any such modification and submit it to the Government for approval. The provisions of Sections 16 and 17 shall, so far as may be, apply to the modifications under sub-section (1), as these provisions apply in relation to the preparation, publication and approval of a Metropolitan Development and Investment Plan.
(3) The Metropolitan Region Development Authority shall levy such fees and conversion charges on the owners as applicable and as may be prescribed in any such modification effected to the Metropolitan Development and Investment Plan.
