Limitation of claims

No claim for compensation under this Act for any damage shall be entertained after the expiration of two years from the time when the damage complained or commenced; provided that the Divisional Canal Officer on sufficient cause shown to his satisfaction by the claiment for not making the claim within such period may condone the delay, and entertain the claim.
