Power to prohibit obstructions

Whenever it appears to the Government that injury to any land for public health or public convenience has arisen or may arise from the encroachment upon any irrigation work the Government may, by notification, prohibit, within limits to be defined in such notification, the formation of any encroachment, or may within such limits, order the removal or other modification of such encroachment.
