Penalties

Penalties.-If any licensee or other person, not being the Board, fails without reasonable excuse to comply with, or give effect to, any direction, order or requirement made under any of the following provisions, namely :-

1. (a) section 56; or
2. (b) clause (d) of sub-section (1) of section 53; or
3. (c) section 54; or
4. (d) section 55; or
5. (e) sub-section (3) of section 71; he shall be punishable with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees, and in the case of a continuing offence with a further fine which may extend to fifty rupees for each day after the first during which the offence continues.
