A. Power of Board to entrust functions, powers and duties.-Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, the Board may, with the consent of the Government, entrust either conditionally or unconditionally to any department of the Government all or any of the functions, powers and duties of the Board under this Act or the Rules made thereunder and upon such entrustment, anything done, or action taken by such department under this Act or the Rules made thereunder shall be construed to have been done or taken by the Board.
