Provision of new generating stations

Provision of new generating stations.-The Board shall itself establish a new generating station in any area in which it is required by any sanctioned scheme to be situated, but the Board may, with the sanction of the Government, make arrangements with any licensee or other person for the establishment, of a new generating station required by a sanctioned scheme, if, in the opinion of the Board, it is desirable so to do.
