Transitory provisions.

1. (1) Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, the Statutes, Ordinances and Regulations, any student who immediately prior to the commencement of this Act was studying in the Gujarat University for a degree, diploma or other academic distinction of the Gujarat University shall be permitted to complete his course in preparation therefor, and the University shall provide for such instruction, teaching and training for such student in accordance with the course of study of the Gujarat University.
2. (2) The results of such student in any examination of the Gujarat University held or to be held after the commencement of this Act shall be determined in accordance with the Gujarat University Act, 1949 and the Statutes, Ordinances and Regulations of the Gujarat University in force immediately before such commencement.
