Save as otherwise provided in this Act: (a) all appointments made shall be deemed to have been made under this Act. [Content regarding the process of making Ordinances] Notwithstanding anything contained in the Act and the Statutes:— Notwithstanding anything contained in the Act and the Statutes: (a) The first Vice-Chancellor, shall be appointed by the Chancellor and he shall be governed by the terms and conditions of service specified by the Statute; (b) The first Board of Management shall consist of not more than eleven members nominated by the Chancellor and shall hold office for a term of three years;
