Disqualification for membership

A person shall be disqualified for being a member of any of the authorities of the University, if he: (1) is of unsound mind; (2) is an undischarged insolvent; (3) has been convicted by a court of law of any offence involving moral turpitude; (4) is conducting, directly or indirectly, a share of interest in any contract with the University; (5) is a person who has been dismissed or removed from the service of the Government or any University. The following shall be the authorities ofthe University, namely:- (1) The Court; (2) The Board of Management; (3) The Academic Council; (4) The Finance Committee; and (5) Such other authorities as may be declared by the Statutes to be the authorities of the University;
