Power to make Model Bye-laws and Regulations

(1) The State Government may, by notification, make model bye-laws and regulations for the Farmers Organisation for carrying out all or any of the purposes of this Act. (2) The Farmers Organisation may adopt the model bye-laws and regulations or may make its own bye-laws and regulations not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act and the rules made thereunder, with the approval of the competent authority, as the case may be. (1) The State Government shall publish model bye-laws for Water Users' Association including model regulations for guidance and adoption by the Water Users' Association. (2) The Water Users' Association shall adopt the model Bye-laws and regulations with necessary modifications as it deems appropriate subject to the provisions of the Act and not contrary to the essential nature and purpose of the model bye-laws and regulations.
