Dissolution of Association

(1) If the Government is of the opinion that the Water Users Association is not functioning in accordance with the provisions of this Act or is failing to discharge its duties, it may, after giving an opportunity to the Association to show cause, dissolve the Association. (2) Upon dissolution, all assets and liabilities of the Association shall vest in the Government. (1) The farmers' organisation shall keep their funds in a Nationalised Bank or a Co-operative Bank. (2) The funds shall be applied towards meeting of the expenses incurred by the Managing Committee of the concerned farmers' organisation in the administration of this Act and for no other purpose.
