Composition of offences

(1) A farmers' organisation may accept from any person who committed or in respect of whom a reasonable belief can be inferred that he has committed an offence punishable under this Act or the rules made there under, a sum of money not less than rupees one thousand in case of offences mentioned in clause (a) to (h) of Section 39 and Rs. Five hundred for the offences mentioned in clause (i) to (l) of Section 39 by way of composition.
