Statutory text

(1) Any General Development Plan, Town Development Scheme, Rules, Regulations framed under the Chhattisgarh Nagar Tatha Gram Nivesh Act, 1973, or under the Chhattisgarh Municipal Corporations Act, 1956 or under the Chhattisgarh Municipalities Act, 1961 already prepared and published by the local authority concerned or the Town Development Authority or Special Area Development Authority concerned, and sanctioned by the Government before the commencement of this Act shall continue to be in force, unless prepared afresh been and superseded or revised under this Act.
(2) Any detailed Town Development Scheme under the Chhattisgarh Nagar Tatha Gram Nivesh Adhiniyam, 1973, any other Scheme under the Chhattisgarh Municipal Corporations Act, 1956, or any town development plan under the Chhattisgarh Municipalities Act, 1961 prepared and published by the local authority concerned or the Urban / Town Development Authority concerned, and sanctioned by the Government before the commencement of this Act with respect to any area now forming part or whole of the Capital Region shall continue to be in force unless prepared afresh and superseded or revised under this Act.
