Statutory text

(a) The Capital Region Development Authority shall prepare in such form and at such time every year as may be prescribed, a budget in respect of the next financial year showing the estimated receipts and expenditure of the Capital Region Development Authority and shall forward to the Government as may be prescribed.
(b) The accounts of the Capital Region Development Authority shall be subject to audit annually by such person as may be appointed by the Government any such expenditure incurred by that person in connection with such audit shall be payable by the Capital Region Development Authority.
(c) The person so appointed, and any other person authorized by him in connection with the audit of accounts of the Capital Region Development Authority shall have the same right, privilege and in connection with such audit as the Accountant General has.
(d) The accounts of the Capital Region Development Authority as certified by the person so appointed or any other person authorized by him in this behalf together with the audit report thereon shall be forwarded annually to the Government, and the Government shall cause a copy of the same to be laid before the State legislature.
