All Powers of development of Land to vest with Capital Region Development Authority

Statutory text
- (1) Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law, all development powers of land or its approval shall vest in Capital Region Development Authority.
- (2) After coming into operation of the Capital Region Development and Investment Plan, or any area development plan in an area, no person or body shall be permitted to use any land or carry out any development in that area unless the development is in conformity with the Capital Region Development Plan and Capital Region Investment Plan, area level development plans and notified schemes.
- (3) The Capital Region Development Authority shall have power to pull down, demolish, remove, or take such appropriate action against any development undertaken by any person, agency or authority in contravention to the plans, rules and regulations made under this act.
