Objects of the University

Objects of the University., The objects of the University shall be to,

1. (a) provide high quality skill education, vocational training, research and development in various fields of skills and technologies;
2. (b) design and develop courses in collaboration with industries and aligned with the National Skills Qualifications Framework;
3. (c) promote entrepreneurship, innovation, incubation and start-ups;
4. (d) establish partnerships and collaborations with industry, corporate sectors and national or international institutions;
5. (e) facilitate flexible learning pathways with credit accumulation and transfer, and multiple entry and exit options;
6. (f) provide training and certification of trainers, assessors and skill professionals;
7. (g) undertake research and consultancy in skill development, livelihood generation and related areas; and
8. (h) perform such other functions as may be necessary to achieve these objects.
