Establishment and incorporation of University

Establishment and incorporation of University.,

1. (1) There shall be established a University by the name of 'the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Skill University, Tripura'.
2. (2) The headquarters of the University shall be at Agartala, and it may establish campuses, regional centres, study centres and extension centres at such other places within the State of Tripura as it may deem fit.
3. (3) The first Chancellor, the first Vice-Chancellor and the first members of the Board of Governors, the Academic Council, and all persons who may hereafter become such officers or members, so long as they continue to hold such office or membership, are hereby constituted a body corporate by the name of 'the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Skill University, Tripura'.
4. (4) The University shall have perpetual succession and a common seal, and shall sue and be sued by the said name.
5. (5) The University shall be a non-affiliating, teaching, training and research University in skills, vocational education and entrepreneurship.
