The University shall have the power to constitute Adhoc Committee for any purpose

connected with the affairs of the University and such Committee shall present their report to the Chancellor the reports are advisory in nature and wherever feasible shall be acted upon by the University,

Board of Studies

44 (1) ForeachDepartment/Faculty, the University shall establish a Board of Study

which shall comprise the following:

1. (i) Senior most member of the academic community in the Department/Faculty concerned as the Chairman;
2. (i) Thenextsenior mostmember of the academic community in the Department/ Faculty as member of the Board;
3. (ii) Three members of the academic community in the Department/Faculty as member ofthe Board:

1. (2) The Chairman, Vice Chairman and members of the Board will be nominated by the Chancellor;
2. (3) The board shall meet every quarter ina year and submit quarterly reports to the Academic Council which shall consider the reports at the earliest and report to the Governing and Executive Councils
3. (4) The reports of the Boards are advisory in character and mainly should relate to academic and connected at administrative matters with the utmost aim of converting the Department/Faculty into a Center of Excellence 454.
4. (5) All other details relating to the conduct of the meetings, functions etc of the Boards of Studies shall be as per regulation Priority amongst Councils, Committee, Boards etc 45 (1) as faras possible, the Councils, Committee, Boards under this Act and the Adhoc Committees that may be constituted under regulations, shall function inharmony
5. (2) Notwithstanding anything in this Act or any regulation made there under, any conflict between the Councils, Committees, Boards under this Act shall been deemed to have been resolved in favor of the Councilor Committee or Board which has precedence over the other as found in the following order; (@ The Governing Councils
   • (ii) The Executive Councils
   • (iv) The Academic Councils
   • (v) The Finance Committees
   • (vi) The Boards of Studies
   • (vii) The Adhoc Committees
