Statutory text

(1) The Government may direct that any power exercisable it under this Act, Rules or regulations thereunder may also be exercised [by any Officer of the Local authority or Government agencies] in such cases and subject to such conditions, if any as may be specified therein.
(2) The [Chief Town & Country Planner] of the Department may, in writing delegate any power exercisable by him under this Act, rules or regulations to any officer of the Department or the Autonomous District Council or Local authority, in such conditions, if any, as may be specified therein.
(3) The Department may, direct that any power exercisable by it under this Act, rules or regulations thereunder (except the power to prepare any Development Plan or any Development Scheme or to make any rules or regulation) may also be exercised by an Autonomous or Government Agency or any Officer of the Government and the Department may be mentioned therein, in such case and subject to such condition if any as may be specified therein.
