Digging of wells etc. without permission prohibited:

1. (1) No new well, tube-well, tank, pond, cistern or fountain shall be dug or constructed without the previous permission, in writing, of the Executive Council.
2. (2) If any such work is begun or completed without such permission, the Executive Council may-
   • (a) by written notice require the owner or the other person who has done such work to fill up or demolish such work; or
   • (b) grant permission to retain such work or portion thereof on such terms and conditions as the Executive Council may consider fit to impose.
