Such Central Prison and Correctional Institution may also have appropriate provisions for an independent Court complex for holding Court hearings.

Temporary accommodation for prisoners Whenever it appears to the Government that,-

1. (a) the number of prisoners in a prison and correctional institution is greater than that can conveniently or safely be kept therein, and it is not expedient to transfer the excess number to any other prison and correctional institution; or
2. (b) due to the outbreak of any disease in any prison and correctional institution, or for any other reason, it is desirable to provide for temporary shelter and for the safe custody of prisoners; appropriate provisions for temporary prison and correctional institution may be made in such a manner, as the Government may direct, from time to time.
