Division of market area into two or more separate market areas.-

1. (1) The State Government may, by notification, divide a market area into two or more separate market areas.
2. (2) The State Government shall, by order, provide for the apportionment of assets and liabilities of the original market committee between the new market committees formed upon such division.
3. (3) The members of the original market committee shall vacate their offices upon such division and until new market committees are constituted, the State Government shall appoint Administrators for such new market committees.
