Short title, extent and commencement (i) This Act may be called Jharkhand Pado Evum Sewaon Ki Riktion Mein Arakshan (Anusuchit Jation, Anusuchit Janjation Evum Pichchre Vergon Ke Liye) (Amendment) Act-2011. (ii) It extends to the whole state of the Jharkhand. (iii) It will come into force with immediate effect. 2 (Amendment). Substitution of Section 4(6) Subsection 4 (6) (Ka, Kha, Ga and Gha) of the Jharkhand Pado Evum Sewaon Ki Riktion Mein Arakshan (Anusuchit Jation, Anusuchit Janjation Evum Pichchre Vergon Ke Liye) Adhinium-2001 be deleted and the following be substituted as 4 (6) in lieu of that :- "During appointment or promotion, in case of unavailability of suitable candidates of reserved category, the reserved posts of services/cadres/posts of Services under the State, the vacancies of posts be carry forwarded for three years, as such, the vacant posts, in case of unavailability of suitable candidates (Appointment/promotion) during two appointment years, the State Government is empowered to be fill up the post by adopting special recruitment procedure during the third year by adopting special recruitment procedure for reserved posts. The posts earmarked for a reserved category will be filled up by the same category."
