Compliance with UGC Regulations.—(1) Every Private University shall comply with the provisions of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, and the regulations made thereunder.

1. (2) Every Private University shall comply with the UGC (Establishment and Maintenance of Standards in Private Universities) Regulations, 2003, and any amendments thereto.
2. (3) Every Private University shall comply with the norms and guidelines of the relevant statutory professional councils.
3. (4) Non-compliance with UGC regulations shall render the university liable for action under this Act
